Logan Soccer Club has officially opened registration for our Fall 2026 player evaluations.
While the fall season is months away, the league’s timeline requires team submission by June. Gathering data on player volume by age and gender bracket with our evaluation sessions is essential and enables the club to accurately determine team counts, finalize recruitment, and ensure every team is rostered in a flight that optimizes player development and collective success.
We recognize that the national August 1st cutoff used by US Club Soccer does not perfectly synchronize with the October 1st enrollment date used by New Jersey school districts. To address this mismatch, Logan Soccer Club has established a Bridge Option. Specifically, players born between August 1st and September 30th will be given the option to play up to the next older age group, particularly if they are in the same grade as that age group. This will allow the club to balance adherence to the new age rules while keeping the spirit of why the age change was made in the first place. This approach maintains social cohesion and ensures that our athletes remain with their peers.
US Club Age Determination Change
This year includes the transition to the new US Club Age Determination guidelines. We have developed a comprehensive breakdown of how Logan Soccer is navigating this change to ensure a smooth transition for all players. Please review the details here
Every player must try out for their age group according to the new US Club Soccer age groups, as displayed in the table below.
Children born August 1st – September 30th (“Bridge Player”) will be able to stay with their current age group, whether they make the A or B team at that age group. Any other player wishing to play up, including players born from October 1st to December 31st, will need to make the A team of the older age group if they wish to stay in that age group.

All sessions will be held at the Logan Soccer Complex:
Boys: April 25 (Morning) & April 27 (Evening)
Girls: April 26 (Morning) & April 28 (Evening)

Policy: Logan Soccer Club remains an open club: we welcome all players regardless of residency. The Board reserves the right to place players in the appropriate age group based on roster space and the club’s needs. Roster space may limit the ability to play up.
